The reason I'm not panicking and believe that we can continue to be successful even without Ben is because there isn't a HUGE drop off with Lefty or Batch in there. No, I'm not saying they're as good as Ben. What I'm saying is that Lefty is experienced and has been successful in this league. We know he can get the job done. If the offense scores 17 to 20 points every game and the defense plays like it's capable of, then there's no reason we can't contend. I'd feel much differently if an inexperienced QB like Jerrod Johnson was taking over.

Leftwich can lead this team to a win in the next two games. We'll need Ben in Baltimore three weeks from now, though.

I don't think you're going to get him until late in the season, or possibly the playoffs.
