Coach Mike Tomlin, who banned all table games from the locker room last week, has issued another ban on his players: No more celebratory flips into the end zone.
Tomlin said he has told the players to stop celebrating touchdowns the way Emmanuel Sanders did against the New York Jets on Sunday -- doing a front flip across the goal line and landing on his back.
It was the second time this season a Steelers player has performed the flip on a touchdown. Rookie Le'Veon Bell did that when he scored his first NFL touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in London.
"The potential for injury," Tomlin said when asked why he banned the celebration. "It's silly."
