Bell suspended 4 games for missing drug test..

So sick of this sh**.....every year it's a injury or suspension fffing this team over.

It's being appealed but this still sucks.

I'm as a big a bell fan as there is... since his senior year in college, I was waving the pom poms hoping the steelers would draft him ....

but damn does this piss me off so bleeping much.

After this year the team is going to have to start letting guys go...this is the best chance at a sb we've had.....

And he's going to pull this sh** after already screwing up last year???..

Bell probably just cost himself the $15 million he was hoping for, unless a team comes in with a clause ridden contract. Next suspension nets 8 or 11 games? That's a big risk for a team to take on.

They say marijuana causes loss of memory. ( personally I don't think it should be a banned substance unless it is abused. IE:showing up high on game day just like alcohol) But it is soooo WTH is wrong with these guys. After his traffic stop he seemed genuinely sorry for his actions.

Bell refutes rumor he missed or failed drug test

Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell refuted a report he missed or failed a drug test.

If true, the report — described as a rumor but "a pretty strong rumor," by the reporter — would mean Bell would be facing a suspension by the NFL.

On Tuesday, Bell said the report was wrong.

“I am fine,” he said (via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review). “I can't keep talking about the drug test. I probably already said too much about it, so I really can't keep talking about it. People are going to say what they want to say on the Internet. It is people who really have nothing to do. I don't get upset or let it bother me.”

I agree with you that a statement needs to be made. Right now though, I'm not sure what the best way is to deliver that statement.

Time to move on from this moron after the season. If we drafted properly for D the past couple years, we should be able to take a RB in the 2nd-3rd round next year. Frees up money anyway.

Yeah. Really. If he does get the suspension he is only one failed test away form 1 year like Bryant. I was worried they wouldn't be able to resign on him. This likely makes him affordable if they pursue him. You have to wonder if they end up just saying enough of this and let guys like him and Bryant walk. This is just crazy. We're losing key pieces one by one just like last year before the season even starts. The offense would have been lethal with him and Bryant.

Williams did great for us last year, the O-Line is very good, hopefully he and the young guys can pick up the slack.

The most maddening thing about this is we're losing people not by being torpedoed in the knee, or horsecollared from behind. They are stupid, self inflicted, issues.

And what makes me even saltier about this situation is the window for #7 is open widest right now. That window is going to start to shut quickly within 1-2 years.

Theres stupidity in this world, then theirs "STUPIDITY". I've now lost confidence in both Bell and Bryant. They are just simply too unreliable.

I'm disgusted to be dropping players before the season even starts again, so not much into looking for silver linings. But, if anything else, it may preserve him better for the rest of the season and playoffs, and, if he does straighten himself out he likely would come cheaper if they want to resign him

Its a ten game suspension for the next failed/missed drug test I believe.

I'm pretty much on board with whats already been said..#26 when on the field (and I mean WHEN..like in the last 2 seasons) is great..love him..best back in the league etc. sorry to say but in my mind maybe he doesn't have a place on this team...after this season of course

Stupid, I was hoping to see Bell in Week 2 when I go to my first game at Heinz Field but I'm robbed of that now. This is incredibly disappointing, and not the kind of distraction this team needs right now. Bell needs to step up and lead by example, not get suspended at the start of every season.
