Tbh I'm not worried about Hubbard, he's done a good job while in. Gilbert has been playing hurt all year. Maybe 4 weeks off and he'll be in top form again

I don't doubt he could've taken it inadvertently. I know that's a common excuse, but honestly it wouldn't be too hard to do just that. These guys are always taking supplements, anything they can to help improve their performance. Anything to give them that extra boost. I work around a lot of guys that used to be athletes, and some are bodybuilders, they're always pounding down new supplements and trying new ones. With the market so proliferated with supplements from a billion different companies I think it'd be easy to take something and mistakenly take something you shouldn't have. Gilbert's been around for awhile now, and to my knowledge he's never taken anything before, so I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

In the age of cell phones, and agents with multi-million dollar clients, shouldn't they simply pick up the phone and call their agent or at least a team doctor before trying something?

The question I have is: how long has he been using this substance? Was it something he just started taking to perhaps help heal, or has he been juicing all season and just got caught?

How about checking with the team doctors and trainers before ingesting any supplement.....just to be sure.  

Nowadays with all of the product info available at your fingertips there are NO legitimate excuses.
