| The NFL seemingly has some fun with their “random” drug tests, often selecting players that just did something noteworthy for a test. The latest victim? Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell.
Boswell, in his second year out of Rice, tied a Steelers record with six field goals in the team’s 24-20 win over the Bengals on Sunday. Five of those six kicks came from beyond 40 yards, and apparently, that was enough to raise the NFL’s eyebrows and summon him for a “random” drug test.

| I thought his leg was high as a kite but his kickoffs were short. kicking all those field goals 6 and kickoff 6 would tried a leg out. to tell the truth I was rooting for him to get 21 points the hard way.  | |

that was one of the weirder games I've ever seen. To go down 20-6, hold them at 20, then steadily chip away 3 points at a time to make it 20-18. I'm glad they got the late TD, but another 3 points to seal a 21-20 win would have been crazy. I'm surprised since Boswell had a good game and they tested him, that the NFL didn't rationalize that James must have been taking something that influenced Boswell's good game, and then retested James too | |
