Don't know if its motivation as much as he knows all the teams in the division and went from one that always drafts in the top 5 picks to one that drafted in the bottom 5 picks this year.

maybe Haden knows and likes the basics of the Steelers defense which would cut down on the learning curve going to a new team and the Steelers are getting a CB that knows the basics of Butler's Steelers defense. plus he gets to make the Browns regret cutting him.

Plus the Browns have been dumping players that were drafted before their current front office was hired.
