Which also cost me my fantasy playoffs...Burns should not have been on the field in the first place. That play was not on Burns, it was on Davis. He blew his assignment big time. He was to cut over and take the crossing route that was handed off by Haden. The reason Burns was replaced by Sensabaugh was because of communication failure (not on Burns' part, but no one in the secondary could call the plays so they needed Sensabaugh to come in) and because Davis didn't trust Burns (coming off his assignement to help Burns). So Tomlin opted to take out Burns so that the secondary as a unit would be better, but Burns actually didn't make a fault on this play/in this game. | |
