No excuses for how poor that team has played since they lost the Super Bowl. Dan Quinn is supposed to be a defensive coach and yet their defense has continuously been underwhelming. I've never seen a team that could build a big lead only to lose it as many times as the Falcons have. They have a lot of talent, a franchise QB, stellar receivers, etc...
I think a new coach and a different GM is exactly what the Falcons needed, I'm just surprised it took this long.
