First-half random thoughts ...

I was high on Moye during the preseason. Good to seem him contribute.

Heyward made a couple nice plays. It's about time.

The pass rush is finally starting to get some consistent pressure. Not enough yet, but improved.

Special teams still looking a lot better than I would have thought coming into the season.

Ben looked pissed off a lot, and rightfully so ... the offense looked like a complete mess. Fortunately, it's all stupid mistakes, things that can be corrected. We saw a few glimpses of what the offense is capable of.

A few more random thoughts ...

The O-line isn't playing half-bad (relatively speaking of course). They're at least giving Ben somewhat of a chance to make plays.

I'm impressed with Velasco. He's a noticeable improvement over Beachum at center.

All things considered, I'll take a tie at the half. They still have a lot of things to work on, but they're at least showing some heart and playing better than last week.

I'm liking the ST play this week. With the exception of the punter not being able to put the ball OOB inside the 5.

Ok DEFENSE you've got to crank it up on the first series....matter of fact why not go ahead and put one in the endzone yourself to take the lead.

Two guys open on that play. Ben never saw either of them.

That certainly was a weak tripping call. It amazes me the refs can see something like that, but miss a blatant holding call.
