| I learned one thing today. The Cleveland Browns are the worst football team I have ever seen. | |

For what it's worth, Jones is a back up who never plays. It's hard to stimulate real game action. There is a reason he is a back up. On another note, Steelers organization is the greatest drafters of recievers ever. Other than Limas Sweed, everyone they draft contributes. Legit recievers. Not scat back, reciever, return guys.

| Steelers came in and kicked some ass and took no names! ! well the Steelers kept the grind on through the game for a win the Browns come in to play with all of the Steelers offensive production on the sidelines knew this was going to be a long game. thought the young WRs had a good game you could tell Pouncey wasn't playing by the sacks givin up. _________________ When the truth gets buried deep Beneath the thousand years asleep Time demands a turnaround And once again the truth is found

We are really good at that. I think a lot of Sweed's issues were mental personally but since you brought up WRs. It's a small sample but I like what I see from Ayers. I doubt he's the next AB steal type but he definitely looks like he could contribute on offense.

| It is rough being a Browns fan. They have 1 win season, not much hope, and they are losing their message board.

Steelers next year might score 700 points with the weapons and depth they have. Steelers need to draft all defense in the off season and maybe draft the next QB early. Early as in 2nd round.

Hate to say it but they earned that easy path. They absolutely destroy mediocre and bad teams and win the games they need to win. I hate them more then any franchise on the planet but they have been consistently better year in and year out over the last 15 years then the Steelers. They NEVER lose to garbage teams that they are supposed to destroy, they hardly ever play down to poor teams levels. The Steelers will have to beat the Dolphins, then beat KC in Arrowhead (No easy task for sure), just to have a chance to play the Patriots* in NE... If the Steelers beat the teams they should have this year and not gone on that 4 game skid their road to another ring could have been completely different.

Like young AB, he certainly has taken advantages of the opportunities thrown his way. I do like the idea of drafting a QB fairly early next year. I'm liking seeing what we're doing on defense draft wise. I think Davis is what we hoped Thomas would be. Shamarko really had a tough task ahead of him being the heir to Polamalu but I think Sean is a smarter player too. Burns looks like a good corner. He's had rookie mistakes but I like his game. Hargrave looks good too. And I like what I've seen from Matekivitch on ST too. I also think Hawkins could contribute on the o-line since Munchak is a great o-line coach.

| If the Browns would've pulled off the victory today, they would've matched their 2016 win total on the first day of 2017.. oh well. Poor Brownies. lol | |

- Sounds like Burns missed int #2 on the day.
Yup, but he was too deep at the snap of the ball and standing flat footed. I really don't know WTF Carnell Lake is teaching him, as his technique and footwork is terrible. The very next play after the near INT, he stood flat footed around 10 yards deep until the WR made up the cushion. He should be moving his feet either in backpedal or his seemingly favorite bail technique. He peeked on the stop and go by Pryor and got beat terribly. It was just like he was in college, gambling to trying and get the INT. I am encouraged by his ability, but if they can ever teach him some good technique and he applies it consistently, he is good for 6 INT's + a season.

Hopefully Ed B was right about Hargrave returning According to ESPN, Hargrave cleared the protocol and returned for one series, but then spent the rest of the game on the bench. It looks like Hargrave will be OK for next week, now lets just hope Tuitt is good to go as well.

Consider how the WR depth goes this year, I will keep drafting WR in late round in the coming draft.
