Week 5 - Jaguars at Steelers

I think this is the week the O finally comes around. Just a hunch. I think we run the ball well and Bell goes over 140, 2 TDs, and 30+ carries. Ben has an average game, probably around 250 and 1D, with a pick. Brown gets close to 100. The game plan this week will be run the ball on them repeatedly.

On D, I think the Jags will try to run Fournette down our throats. I think he goes over 100 and 1 TD. However, Bortles is completely stifled and that's what wins the game for us.

Steelers 27 Jacksonville 17.

The O definitely needs to step up. The Jags have a good D and it isn't going to help if the Offense is stagnant again.

Bell should have a big day Jaguars defense is last in the NFL against the run so I believe Haley will be calling mostly pass plays Sunday   .

Jaguars run offense is 2nd in the NFL the Steelers run defense is 23rd in the NFL needs to step up Sunday.

Offense in the red zone really needs to stop being predictable.

Is it just me, or do they always get too conservative in the red zone?

You throw a bomb and end up with 3 points. That's sad.

Ben seriously man. Come on. Promising drive, taking what the defense gives us, out at midfield all the way from our own endzone and you try to force a throw to a TE with drop issues, who is being covered by Jacksonville's best corner.

Dumb. Just dumb.

This team needs to show me something real. I'm just not convinced. This offense has been putrid thus far.

Offense was actually looking pretty good to start off. They weren't trying to get too flashy, and they were taking what the defense was giving them. If they'd just be happy with that the big plays will come.

Ben then has to try and force a throw in to the unreliable Vance McDonald who was covered by one of the better corners in the league. That interception was dumb, and sucked the wind out of our sails.

Ben is hurting this team more than he is helping it right now.

Nice, let them march into our stadium and run it down our fucking throats. This defense needs to learn how to stop the run.

Standard is the standard against shitty teams.

It's funny, me and the girlfriend watched these guys struggle to win and it was boring. I'm kinda glad I don't watch these guys week to week anymore. I track it, and at this rate I don't see why I'd watch. Would probably just piss me off. They're capable of more than this. I don't know what this team's problems are but they need to fix it if they want to go anywhere this season.

Honestly I think the biggest issue is we have a QB that's showing his age. Ben just isn't making the throws he normally would, and he's turning the ball over. Ben's ability to make plays forced defenses to back off and gave guys like Bell more room to run. As it sits, every team is going to sell out to stop Bell and dare us to throw. If Ben can't muster something and show he's got gas left in the tank it's going to be tough sledding this season.

Defense missing tackles giving up 1st downs like free candy on Halloween.

This offense has so much potential, its pathetic to watch them struggle the way they do. And i dont think Haley has a clue either

The inability of the coaching to make any significant adjustments isn't helping much either.

Yeah, I'd say the age is starting to show with Ben. That's pretty sad. But this team needs to start grooming a QB. We all knew Ben only had a few years left.

That said, hopefully they don't follow the Cheats and their season.

Ben has to stop forcing things that just aren't there. I can't help but wonder if Haley is a part of that.

Their offense as a whole has to play better. Look how talked up they are.
