I'd like to hear what you guys think of this. We basically swapped a 6th round of theirs for our 7th and we through in Jerald Hawkins. SMH Trade 294855916

I got nothing on this one. Perhaps Hawkins was going to be cut, and TB absolutely had to have him for depth.

The Steelers were going to cut him and TB was able to take a gamble moving back one in the late rounds. This will only be news worthy if Hawkins turns into a stud or the Steelers draft a monster in the 6th.

I guess I just didn't pay much attention to the guy and his worth or lack of it. I don't suspect much exciting news will come from this trade.

I guess we managed to move up a round in the draft next year and lost a player we didn't need anyways so I'll take it. Hawkins looked terrible this preseason, I don't really get why any team would want him.
