Warren and Durant are bonding — and not just because of their shared experience of being a undrafted rookie running backs with the Steelers. The two of them combined for almost 3,000 yards from scrimmage last season for Power 5 programs, each surpassing 1,200 rushing and 200 receiving yards while scoring 11 touchdowns apiece.

At 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, Durant is a different body type than Warren (5-8, 215). Each, though, knows he has to show versatility, coachability and a desire to compete in areas such as special teams to have a shot at sticking with the Steelers

JAYLEN WARREN 40 TIME: 4.55 SECONDS
MATAEO DURANT 40 TIME: 4.38 SECONDS

I'm not saying they'll make the team both have shown hard work in college, interchangeable fast RBs with good hands behind Najee Harris sounds like a good ideal to me.

Hopefully they will flash thier talents and one will stick with the team. Tomlin needs to find someone to give Harris a break he can't keep using RBs like he has in the past.

Like to see Anthony McFarland Jr. have a good camp for what he's been through last couple years he can get to the edge of the defense in a hurry has good hand out of the backfield like every post o-linemen need to give these guys a little more room.

This appears to be a pretty good group competing for backup RB. I was a Benny Snell fan while he was at UK and was glad we drafted him. I still think he can be a good backup in the right system. Just not ours.

imho the Steelers front office fixed the inside run game blocking with the offseason pickups with Dotson or Green they got the LGs to pull to run right, Steelers been running right pulling their LT, LG or OC since Noll need that Bulldozer / sealer RT.

get the inside power and run right power run game going to make those speed players on counters, WRs on the outside more lethal.
