Wow it says a lot that they don't even mention Benny Snell, but instead turn to someone on the practice squad. Why did Snell even get a roster spot then? Seems that should have gone to McFarland all along.

I was living in Kentucky when he played there and he was one of their most liked players and he's pretty good on STs but....I'm scratching my head over his roster spot too. IMO he's not even a good backup in the NFL and he's not a STs ace.

Yeah, its nothing personal against Benny, he's probably a really good dude, could be partly why he's hung in on the roster. But to roster him over McFarland seems like a mistake.
He does seem to be an outstanding ST player, which definitely helps too.
