Steelers vs. Giants - Pre-season Game 1

Well, thoughts so far this quarter:

One of our Jones's looks like a rookie, the other does not.
Vince Williams is beasting it up.
Special teams is god awful.

Can't wait to see what John Parker Wilson can do at QB. I hope he's active.

Time for Landry to prove why he was worth a 4th round pick

Oh, Wilson might be coming out now. Either way, regardless of outcome, the Steelers have a lot to work on. Thankfully they have another 3 pre-season games to work on stuff.

I agree with everything. Although I think Landry shook off the jitters and looked OK after his rough start. Considering it's his first action and he's been backed up against his own end zone, I think he's done as well as could be expected. But you know what they say about first impressions ... and that first impression was disastrous.

Yeah, but if he's not careful, he's still going to end up in the end zone.  

I don't see the Steelers keeping 4 QBs on the roster. Right now it'll be Ben, Gradkowski, and Jones. Wilson will be seeking some practice squad spot.

John Parker Wilson looking like the #3 QB with a chance to fight for #2.
New #17 can catch better than old #17.
