They got away with simulating the snap count. They also got away with Jabal sheared not having his helmet properly buckled and knocking it off for a penalty.
They will cheat any way possible. And there is not a rule they are not willing to bend.
The NFL may think they have control over the headsets in Foxboro but they do not. The Patriots** don't give up control for anything. Not even game balls used on game day.

I'm sure the Patriots* and the NFL will just explain it away as a technical difficulty. I don't much care about their cheating anymore, they just get slaps on the wrist, and when the NFL did try to come down for once, an idiot in the legal system let them off the hook.

As much as I hate them and as much as I DO believe they cheat, this was definitely just an unfortunate coincidence. The play clock resets like that pretty often due to referee or broadcast errors and Brady just happened to be making a gesture right when it happened.
Makes for a great "holy shit it's so obvious he cheats" video though.

Why does the unfortunate coincidence always seem to benefit the Patriots*?
The Steeler coaches headsets went out at key times against them......another unfortunate coincidence???
