| Scobee is complete garbage. How he has a job is beyond comprehension. I'm normally the guy that sticks up for a player, or tries to find the positives in a given situation but this is just ridiculous. With how bad he played against the Patriots* he should've gotten cut, but they kept his sorry ass around. Then he missed an extra point against the 49ers... Another red flag, but they still kept him around. Tonight he misses two CRUCIAL FGs so badly, that the coaching staff literally couldn't trust him to try and win the game with a 50 yard attempt. That's pathetic. This game is on Scobee, your kicker in the NFL has to be nearly automatic in this league. There are high school kickers out there that are probably much better than Scobee has been. He shouldn't have a place on this team after this game.
This is also on the coaching staff for keeping him around, for being far too conservative earlier on in the game, and for the horrible playcalling that helped us end up with a loss to an inferior football team at home on the night they were supposed to be honoring Jerome Bettis. It's been quite some time since I have gotten this pissed off after a game. Sometimes things just don't go your way, but this was the ultimate example of pissing the game down your leg and giving the game away. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt

Not to mention had the ball with 2:04 deep in raven territory with a 20-17 lead The ravens had just gone for it on 4th an not made it. ALL WE NEEDED WAS ONE FIRST DOWN AND WE COULD HAVE RAN THE CLOCK OUT How we fucked that up is unfathomable. _________________

| I also didn't get that playcall where they had Michael Vick try to run it to the short side of the field on a 4th Down. Why would you run it to the side where he literally has no room to run, and you have to have near perfect blocking to ensure he has enough space to get the 1st Down? Should definitely be running it the opposite direction. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt | |

| I called this game in our favor with 2:04 left at the raven 30. I guess I forgot its Vick and Scobee not Ben and Suisham. What is up with our players messing their knees up. Bell,Suishiam and ben all suffer knee injuries that basically end our season 2 years in a row? Is there a class we can have on protecting our knees? _________________ | |

The game should've been won at that point, they decided to put the game on the shoulders of the most unreliable person in the entire league and it bit them in the ass. Scobee definitely shouldn't be on this team after this game. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt

| This just in! Scobee attempted to hang himself after the game however, he failed when couldn't kick the chair out from underneath himself. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt | |

| Here is an article from the Eagles boards. They had to work out some kickers last week due to injury.

Sure we can. In a perfect world, we score touchdowns on every drive and only go for 2's. :)

| Report: Steelers Schedule K Kai Forbath For A Tryout
BY DAVE BRYAN OCTOBER 2, 2015
Veteran kicker Josh Scobee missed two more field goals Thursday night in the Pittsburgh Steelers23-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and it appears as though the team is looking for somebody to replace him.
According to CSNMidAtlantic.com, former Washington Redskins kicker Kai Forbath has a tryout scheduled with the Steelers.
Since 2012, Forbath has connected on 87 percent of his field goal attempts. He also worked with Steelers special teams coach Danny Smith when both were with the Redskins.
Forbath was released by the Redskins after the first week of the season.

| You know what happen the last time the steelers got a former kicker cut by the redskins? Anything would be better than Scobee right now. My guess is Forbath will be in uniform by Monday night of the Chargers game. | |

| Report: K Chris Boswell to also get tryout with Pittsburgh SteelersBy Jeff.Hartman on Oct 2, 2015 The Pittsburgh Steelers seem determined to try and replace Josh Scobee as soon as possible, and the latest name to reportedly get a tryout is kicker Chris Boswell. The Pittsburgh Steelers seem prepared to give some placekickers the chance to take Josh Scobee's job as the kicker for the black and gold. Reports earlier Friday were former Washington Redskins kicker Kai Forbath received a tryout with the team today. Now reports are surfacing Chris Boswell will get his chance at splitting the uprights Saturday for the Steelers. Boswell is out of Rice who spent his rookie season showing his versatility with the Houston Texans as he performed punting duties for part of his rookie 2014 season. In 2015, he spent the preseason with the New York Giants before being released. Boswell's college statistics are far from amazing. In his first year with Rice, Boswell had a 64.7 kicking percentage, in his sophomore season he kicked his highest 81.0 percentage, 79.3 as a junior and 66.3 in his senior campaign. If in fact the Steelers are preparing to cut ties with Scobee, it will be quite the investment thrown away as the team will owe Scobee $2.5 million dollars for his services, or lack thereof, in 2015. to read rest of article: http://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/nfl-pittsburgh-steelers-news/2015/10/2/9443337/report-k-chris-boswell-to-also-get-tryout-with-pittsburgh-steelers | |

I was getting ready to be really pissed off until I read this, and highly dreaded hearing that we were giving Scoobee Don't another try. One point to Tomlin _________________ "Right now I'm having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before." ~ Steven Wright
