DeAngelo Williams???

Any updates on our running back D.W??? There is a vid of him greeting the players after the game wearing a boot.

Looks like High Ankle Sprain. Unlikely he will play next week. Might be out til Super Bowl if they get that far.

Boy oh boy that would be tough. Can the backs that we have get job done in the playoffs, enough to make other teams respect the run? This effin blows, Williams has been a real Godsend!

Just like last year lose our rb in week 17

Sad thing is this doesn't seem to be getting much attention, if it were Bell going out in game 17 (this year) the sky would be falling. Maybe everyone is still in shock we made the playoffs!? Going to be a tough go without WILLIAMS!

We'll tough it out without him. We have enough skill players at other positions to make plays.

I don't know. With zero running game it can be tough for our offense.

It's the playoffs. Nothing will come easy. I think Toussaint will benefit from getting more reps with the first team in practice as well.

Yep and at least the guy has been in the system for a while, it's not like the Ben Taint situation where we pulled him off his couch and straight into a playoff game

If Williams can't go, forget the running game. We've seen this happen before.
We were incredibly fortunate to have DeAngelo as our lead RB with Bell going down.
I can't see it happening with Touissant.
Ben will have to be Super Ben next week.

better find a way to win with only 15-25 yards rushing.

I'd like to see what he has. IIRC he's a decent receiving back like Bell is. It does suck to lose DeAngelo though since he's been so great for us.

Who's conditioning these RBs on our team? They're always fucking getting hurt! WTF?

I do like the weapons we have, but we had no run game against the Browns, D'Angelo or not, and won the game.

I think the key is our defense not shitting the bed in the playoffs.

Just stating that our RB position is a constant carousel. Bell hurt twice, our huge offseason pickup gets hurt before the playoffs start.

Some being in the known universe freakin' hates our RBs.

I expect it from a 32 year old, not a 24 year old.

Tape the sum-bitch up real nice and tight, give him a nice numbing shot to help with the pain, and then run him until the wheels fall off - completely.
