Really like this guy, the more I read on him the more Id like him in the 2nd.
Believe he can play OLB & DE. He's definitely too big to get good leverage and drop into coverage as a traditional 3-4 OLB. He could bulk up and play DE for us though in a rotation with Heyward and Tuitt. Alternatively, we don't seem totally locked into our base defense so much anymore and I could see us employing him in kind of a hybrid role like Julius Peppers right now in Green Bay...not a stand-up 3-4 OLB but more of an edge rusher off the line like a 4-3 end in what is otherwise a 3-4 scheme. | |
