What an awesome game. The Steelers came right out and said "Let's be the Steelers again". Long passes, great run, sacks, turnovers..... just awesome. Dangerfield and Williams really stepped up IMO. It was also good to see Gilbert out there.

How was that not a penalty when Ben was slammed to the turf after the whistle?

Yep, total BS that they didn't throw the flag on that play. It was well after the whistle and intentional. Had that been Brady, the entire defense would have been ejected and the Chiefs would have forfeited all of their victories over the past 10 years. As it is, Ben is a tough guy and doesn't get the calls other QBs get.

Because Ben doesnt go down and players feel that until he is down, he is never down. Kinda like reffing shaq in his prime. Tough for the refs to judge even when its blatant. Im sure if they had slammed him it would have drawn a flag but since they meandered and slowly kept taking him down, they didnt cause any damage. And ben isnt a bitch so no flopping to add to it.

The officiating in the NFL is more inconsistent than ever.

On any given Sunday you'll see a defender fall into a QB and get flagged for unnecessary roughness and then you see this throw down of Ben well after the play was blown dead, but no flag. Next game up: Chiefs, at Heinz, Sunday night - Page 2 2829330259

Put Brady in that spot and the flags fly.

Yeah, doesn't have to be Brady even. Brees, Ryan, Flacco, Tyrod Taylor, Rivers, Dalton, Rodgers.....even Cutler draws a flag on that one.
