| Oilers really, I'm old and old fashioned.
Anyhow, 9:20pm over here, been drinkig since 11am family fed and happy and now it's my time.
Beers as necessary, Malt (well a speyside and Jamesons which isn't a malt) per Steelers TD, Jagermeister for FG. | |

| We need to tighten up our run defense. The middle is wide open. Everyone trying to get to the QB and not tackling on the way.
We're not exactly lighting them on offense but we're controlling the clock so no complaints here. | |

| Not the most exciting game, but it was nice to not have to worry about having a heart attack for once.

| The only thing that got my BP up was our run defense. Can you imagine if we had a guy like Hopkins on the other side how scary that would be for anyone we played?
If he gets a franchise QB to throw to him that dude will shine.

At least it was a calm game and we get a bye. Yeah, it looked like a tough game for the middle linebackers. Vince Williams didn't look happy chasing runners several yards down field. However, I suspect that Butler was giving up the run to ensure the Texans couldn't pass. Who cares if they try to run the ball when the Steelers were up 20+ for most of the game. Running chews up the clock, which Butler was most likely fine with ... just win the game. | |

My fear is when the playoffs start and we go up against formidable opponents we can't stop run which will set up their passing game. | |

| We were playing 3 up front most of the game when it got comfortable so no surprise there were huge running lanes. It was managed well, so no complaints from me. Ben is still looking sharp, albeit against one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and without Brown while spreading the ball around so that was good.
