Signing day came and went and while Bell was reported in Pittsburgh it is obvious he only came back to clean out shite and move on.
Good, bad, indifferent, it doesn't matter. The best part of today is it's over. All of it. It's done.
No more cryptic tweets No more worrying about will he or won't he No more questioning his love of money or love for the game
Steelers fans, football fans, and all the drama queens waiting around to see what would happen can now go back to their regularly scheduled bullshite.
The Steelers no longer need to answer questions about Bell and they can focus on what the task has been since day 1. Win another damn Super Bowl and what better way to do it than without Le'Veon.

Goodbye Mr. Bell and good luck! You will find very few organizations as well ran as this one.

bell is just another example of why i believe investing to much in to a RB is just a bad investment. their careers and skill can turn on a dime and leave you holding the bag. from all pro to useless in a year.

The Oline makes the RB... excluding Barry Sanders and Jim Brown. Bell was good because he ran behind a Probowl caliber Oline that was run oriented.

just image had he accepted the steelers offer .. ... not only would have been useless , he would still be eating up cap space. probabaly would have prevented them from signing someone that is useful. his little speech praising the ratbirds is likely damage control for talking shit about andy reed. he probably thinks it might help him con money out of another RB desperate team.

Bell is already washed up at this point, but imagine him playing behind this current o-line. His hesitant running style (waiting for blocks to develop) would lead to so many TFLs for opposing defenses.
Honestly the Ravens were his last real chance to show he had anything left in the tank and it's obvious he's not the dynamic player he was when he was in Pittsburgh. Ever since he left Pittsburgh I think it became more about him, and less about football and football was just a way for him to make $$$. Only explanation I can think of for such a quick and decisive drop in production after having left us.

this oline, last years oline, the year before's oline ....he may have had one more good year in pittsburg then everything after would have been a waste of cap space. the only positive that might have come from it is maybe they wouldnt have wasted a 4th on benny snail.

Yeah, Benny doesn't seem to have a lot going for him at this point. Even Ballage has passed him.
Behind Najee, its a vast wasteland.

as soon as i saw benny snells 40 time (4.66) i knew it was a bad pick. if they are not 250 lbs pounds with incredibly quick feet and named jerome, avoid 4.6 RB's.. there are literally hundreds of former college RB's with the very same skill set and measurables that are out of football. spending a 4th on one was just foolish. they could have plucked one off the scrap heap just like him. i said as much here on draft day. i liked james connor in the 3rd , hated snell in the 4th.
