Zero consistency except the fact that it is consistently all over the place on both sides of the ball... hot garbage with whiffs of some great football... they just dig a hole too deep early
Also, Claypool showboating like a clown with the clock ticking and no timeouts. Brilliant. But he won't get disciplined for it tho

he gotta make juju proud. i wouldnt be opposed to trading him this offseason. his jack assery needs to be purged. tomlin needs to tighten this ship up and put a no diva rule in place.

Yeah you got a better chance at seeing god. Tomlin could care less about discipline

Claypool is becoming a liability. He hasn't shown enough consistency to act like he has been. His rookie year he looked like he could take the top off but now he slams the lid instead doing stupid shit. I think we should shop him around. I don't know what he'd bring but I do know he seems to be turning into a head case. I turned the game off when Ben got sacked AGAIN early in the 3rd. Why doesn't Tomlin let Ben start off running the hurry up offense? 2 weeks in a row he showed he;s is far more productive with Canada out of the way. Speaking of Canada if he isn't 1 and done I'm gonna be pissed. Butler needs to go. Week in and week out we see DBs playing 2-5 yards out past the sticks. If this is not the scheme than why are they not getting chewed out. I think it's time to clear away the wreckage. Bush, Claypool,Gilbert III, Snell, Okorafor, Spillane, Schobert and Buggs should be on the market.

claypools attention whoring probably cost them another play and another shot at the endzone. because of his shit the ref had to chase after the ball to get it spotted. and remember this was AFTER he was benched in the first half for the personal foul stupidity. at least he is being held accountable by the fans and some of the media even if tomlin wont. i hope his social media is getting blowed up with comments from angry fans. if they shopped him around i'm sure they could get the 2nd round pick back they spent on him.
for anyone who may have turned the game off early here it is. this guy is spitting the truth. not just about claypool but the team in general.
FINALLY....someone is putting the blame on Tomlin for letting these assclowns get away with stupid shit. cant stand horseface sharp or skippy but they are goin hard in the paint on tomlin and the tik tok divas ..
It goes deeper than Claypool. Glad Tomlin sat on him in the first half, too bad he didn't learn from it.
Here are the top 5 on the team in salary: (includes cap hit and % of cap)
Ben Roethlisberger $25,910,000 13.82 Joe Haden CB $15,575,000. 8.31 T.J. Watt $8,118,694 4.33 Cameron Heyward $7,481,250 3.99 Devin Bush $5,146,845 2.75
Watt and Hayward are certainly worth it. But with Watt out last night, we have approximately 1/3 of our cap $$$ in 3 players on the field: Ben, Cameron and Bush. So, not exactly getting much bang for the buck.
It is not the entire picture but it is certainly a part of it.

i've always wondered what a boxing match would look like if winner took all. loser gets zilch. then i thought hey why not have that to a degree in football. i know for the probowl the winners got a bigger check than the losers and i think the playoffs are the same. so why not write contracts up like that ? your game check is predicated on winning or losing... like if you got a 17 million contract , the team goes 17-0 you get the full 17. if the team goes 0-17 you make 8.5 million for the year. then players would hold each other accountable.
you would have stuff like this after games....claypool---> <---cam heyward

No no no no, I completely disagree.
17-0 you get the full 17. If the team goes 0-17 you. Get. NOTHING.

Lets take step 2 and put a performance clause in there in which case Bush would be eligible for food stamps?

Let's allow Pittsburgh Dad to evaluate performance to determine pay.

this ranks right up there with him saying "we are going to unleash hell" , a few years ago. but they are interesting comments. is he saying they have to date not turned over every stone and used their time week in and week out to evaluate the players performance to determine who will give the best effort toward winning ? i mean inexplicably Zack Banner who who was penciled in to be a starter and was givin a raise to stay with the team , returns from injury and yet is still sitting on the bench while his position mates continue to show they are inept week after week . there's a stone that could have been turned over easily. another stone to turn over would be maybe taking a good look at the centers play and maybe entertain the idea that he might just not be that good for that position, and might be better suited at guard. are there no centers on the other 31 teams practice squads ?

Could have had Creed Humphrey who is tearing it up at Center for KC.... a true Center not someone that played a whopping 4 games at Center his entire college career mind you....

fun facts. kendrick green is the most penalized center in the league chase claypool is the most penalized WR in the league.
