Ben Roethlisberger's right knee appears to be OK, but the Pittsburgh Steelers know they need to do a better job of protecting their franchise quarterback.
Roethlisberger momentarily left Sunday's 24-0 win over Seattle after taking a shot to the knees from Seattle's Raheem Brock, who beat rookie right tackle Marcus Gilbert on the play.
Brock drew a flag for unnecessary roughness, but it marked the second time Gilbert was beaten in his first NFL start. Roethlisberger was sacked in the first quarter with the ball deep in Seattle territory by Seahawks safety Atari Bigby.
