I'm not so sure it's a classless act. It's hockey, fights happen, and you did something to fire up your team.

But the beautiful thing about the whole thing, Buddha you'll love this, is that he mimics CM Punk's 'Go to sleep' after he skates away from the knocked out Beagle.

Yeah, Ovenchicken was pretty stupid in his remarks. Outside of him, and about every Caps fan that has the motor skills to type words on the internet, Bruce, and other Caps players interviewed, have pretty much just let the whole thing go. They understand what the situation was.

And I guess it wasn't the fight Asham was apologizing about, it was the gestures he made after he knocked out Beagle. He said he just got caught up in the moment and didn't realize that he was hurt so bad. I myself don't see a huge problem with it, but Dan and some other teammates did (as well as Asham). I give him props for extending an apology.

I agree. Mad props to Asham for apologizing for his post knock out actions, but at the same time, I don't think they required an apology either. He did something to fire up his team and the crowd. If I would have been in the crowd, I would have been going nuts!!!!!
