so i've convinced you OJ howard would be a good pick ? unfortunately i see a lot of mocks putting him in the top half of the 1st rd. if he blows up the combine he'll go early. If you convinced me on Howard, congrats Mr Subliminal. I threw out Howard and Butt because I think Howard might be projected more like Devin Funchess because he isn't that thick and his blocking is questioned. Butt with the injury likely falls to the 2nd round, so not sure of his value at #32. This mock draft has Howard going to the Steelers with pick #30

No surprise this is based in part on the assumption the Pats** win today Worked out last time we picked a TE number 30 but hopefully he falls to 32. That said, I'm sure we'll get a good pick.

| All I know is that this dumbass had better have his head out of his ass next season and be ready to play and win. If he gets busted again for being an idiot, then trade his ass to the Browns, Jags, or some other awful team for a bag of Fritos. _________________ "Success isn't owned, it's leased and the rent is due every day." - TJ Watt | |

AB, Martavis, Eli, Sammie, Cobi, Ayers....nice depth chart at WR. I've had my fill of Sammie I think. Maybe he is solid on special teams but as far as pass catching...hard to trust him.

In fairness to him, he did play the majority of the year with multiple broken fingers. Too soon to give up on him IMO, he has size and speed. On the other hand, his consistency and hands do need to get a helluva lot better.

On the other hand, his consistency and hands do need to get a helluva lot better. Given Ben's postgame comments on Sunday where he said the young receivers did not step up and then Ben talking about quitting it may be Coates needs positive reinforcement and Ben is in no mood to give it anymore - as far as getting his teammate Antonio Brown to turn away from the mirror long enough to provide support good luck with that - another vet like Heath Miller (who IMO was badly missed by having the locker room cred to take actions such as telling Brown to STFU in 2015) might have been able to help but Heath was gone So Coates may have been on his own and each screwup just contributed to the next one

| Gonna need him the whole year. And pray to god that Bell doesnt get hurt in the playoffs again. 2017-18 will be the last shot for Big Ben to win it all. All this retirement talk is always the prelude to the end. I wouldnt be surprised if he retired if they win it all and goes out like Jerome did.
I feel like Ben might be done with all the spotlight stuff. I am sure he loves the game but its the other stuff he may be burnt out from. Just my guess.

| Has anyone heard that Brandon Marshall wants to be a Steeler? He a good number two to Antonio Brown, I know the Steelers have a host of WRs but besides AB none of them are all around better than Marshall even at this age. | |

There was some discussion about it in this thread http://www.steelersxtreme.com/t7399-salary-cap-boost-2017#133195 _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

| We will need him. We can't afford to draft a WR high with all our defensive needs. | |

You could draft a WR high if a prime one is there at 30. Now I don't watch college ball, but I know all the 'experts' say this draft is loaded with LB (in and out), CBs/DBs, sprinkled with a few TEs haha The only reason I take a WR at 30 is if one of the so called top 5 is available since he could be that impact guy right away. That would technically mean in my view you could have 2 lanky WRs with pick 30 and Bryant on the outside, and then AB in that case in the slot. sounds good with 2 athletic guys outside, AB inside and then Green at TE who can also stretch the field, im getting giddy lol Although I wouldn't be upset if any of those other positions of need get selected. I do like the sounds of that Obi Manowufu/fi (sp?) but I suspect he'll be gone before the Steelers pick.

http://pit.247sports.com/Bolt/Martavis-Bryant-Im-going-to-show-you-how-much-Ive-changed-50758350 I like the new mindset, but I also like the back of his shirt, "Cover me if... YOU CAN'T" I'm hoping he gets another shot at playing with the Steelers. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

He's applied for reinstatement back in January. Now it's just waiting on Der Kommish to make his ruling. Could be end of March, first of April, but from what I'm hearing it should be before the draft. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

I'm not sure why this takes so long but I believe it's the last thread of control Der Kommish has over the players after his most recent debacles in judgment. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!
