| yup, extra 2.5 million owed 5 days into the league year, i believe. the steelers should allow AB and his agent to line up trades. let them do the leg work | |

| remember this just isn't about AB. it's about AB and the rest of the team. apparently from reports and comments from other players, there is a divide in the locker room between pro AB and the pro Ben camp. so this isn't a mater of just AB adjusting his attitude to continue playing here. the rift between him and ben and whoever else AB has rubbed the wrong way needs to be settled before they can move forward. don't think Ben isn't beyond being petty, and just start looking off AB to ruin his stats, knowing thats the thing that pisses a diva receiver off the most. | |

Spot on. That's why I keep saying that trading AB won't magically fix all the problems. In fact, it might create even more divide with the pro-AB camp. Regardless of what they do with AB, the locker room culture needs an overhaul. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

whats really funny is that rooney may choose AB regardless and throw major disrespect at tomlin. lied to him about being injured, blew off an MRI that tomlin told him to go get. skipped practices christ, the guy was laughing at tomlin during his press conference then refused to return any phone calls AB has made a fool of tomlin. if AB is brought back, what a slap in the face to tomlin this is gonna be great fun watching the circus continue and tomlin has nobody to blame but himself

And I was thinking that last year. That this was in some way Ben showing AB who has the power. I agree Ben is not beyond that at all. That's why I think it's time to find out who is or isn't Ben's replacement. We may never know how deep this runs but we do know that Tomlin doesn't want to get involved. If or I should say when AB leaves who is the next guy to piss Ben off and suffer his wrath?

Exactly. I've been saying that for awhile now. After that I think a sit down with Tomlin to clear the air would be a good idea.

| Yeah as really AB and Bell both need to move on and the team needs to find team players who also care about winning. Just IMHO. _________________ October Outstanding!

| A message to AB, since you're talking to the fans via twitter....
explain to Steeler nation how a team wins a Super Bowl when its key players do not care about winning Super Bowls. Yes, I'm talking to you, AB. "I just wanna win somewhere." No you don't.
Explain to Steeler nation how you are about "winning" when you don't bother to play in the last game of the season, which could determine whether your team makes the playoffs or not.
Go ahead, AB. Respond right here on Steeler Extreme so the passionate fans here can read it.

like hines said, tomlin turned us into the bengals I'm to the point that if a 2nd rounder is on the table by any team: take it. He has to go.

He has to go. tough call here. him returning under any circumstance isnt going to work(chemistry wise) letting him go under value will hurt this team short term(production) and long term(players know they can act a certain way and get traded) i truly believe that window has been slammed shut and there wont be a legit super bowl team in pitt until all these guys are gone, tomlin, ben, AB and bell...............the only chance is keeping ben, and going all in for his last couple years

Ed Bouchette says AB should simply be cut at this point, trades be damned.

No. Trade him to the Jets. Worst case scenario he does well and helps them beat the Pats*.
