I agree as well. AB has really hurt his value with all of his antics lately and his constant running of his mouth. At this point, take that first round pick and run away before he does more damage to his value. Let him become someone else's problem.

Rumor is the trade will happen Friday. I think the FO is attempting to instill a sense of urgency in order to move him before he can do any more damage.

The sad part is some of the things he said are probably true. It's stupid on his part to go the route he chose because it hurts him as much as the team. It's obvious he doesn't care so good riddance. While we may miss his production I'm hoping the locker room will be better offsetting the loss of production.
The pressure will be on Ju Ju, Washington and the soon to be whoever but if we have 2 #1s this year it opens up some possibilities.

More speculation. Read on Reddit in the r/Steelers thread that Colin Cowherd says no way any team is giving a 1st, and that a 2nd or 3rd is the most likely. He is thinking AB goes to the Titans or Redskins.

No chance we get a 1st rounder unless it's one of the Raiders 3 1st round picks. If he doesn't go there, he's Dan Synder's boy who loves to overpay for aging players then watch them under perform.

i don't know if i'd call detroit an undesirable place for an attention hog selfish player like AB who covets his stats over winning . first you get to play half the games under a dome, and he'd be matt staffords numero uno.  when stafford had calvin johnson he put up over 5000 yds and 41 tds in a season.

There is rumored to be the original deal (presumably the Raiders) on the table yet. The Bills jumped in at the last second. I've looked through random message boards, Reddit threads, etc. and read that Jon Gruden is really high on getting AB, but new GM Maynock wants nothing to do with him.

I also read one Twitter post, of which I can't find now, that today's Friday deadline is off the table.

In the end, we may be forced to keep him or trade him for that literal bag of footballs.

Gerry Dulac said a trade to the Bills was productive, but AB "nixed" it.
