Brady vs. Steelers week one

I tried not to read too much into the preseason but wow did our secondary look horrible against the bills. Ill be honest I feel like we are going to lose this game, but often when I think we are going to lose, we win, and when I think we're going to win , we lose.

Look at Brady's performance against the Panthers and feel better

Call me crazy guys but I actually feel a little better going up against a known quantity than an unknown. Now it's not going to be easy. We'll be missing three of eleven offensive starters and the D has struggled but I think the team feels that they should have been at Foxboro last winter playing for the conference championship. Tomlin's teams struggle against the weaker teams not against the stronger ones. Now the Pats* will and should be favored but I think we can win this one and frankly I think we're due for a win at Foxboro with Brady starting.

i've been down that road before. last year when they were destroyed by K.C. i think it was. I remember boasting about how they were "through".......how'd that work out

Since I am going to the 49ers game, maybe the blow out I anticipate next Thursday night will drive ticket prices down

I expected a loss even with the backup QB playing once Bryant joined Bell on the sidelines - playing the defending champs in the Thursday night opener is always tough (as when the Steelers won in 2006 with Batch at QB even though that team went 0-4 in the preseason and only won 1 other game until November)

That is something to watch. There was a chart going around social media made by some stat agency that tracked the Patriots** fumbles and drops. They were a statistical anomaly compared to the rest of the league. I would be curious to see what happens to that data point.

If this was a research paper, you would have to discount the Patriots** data point was either an error in measurement, flawed, or tampered with.

Yeah I'm nuts. Happy for the season to finally start. I'm hungry after last winter though. Offense could be special. D needs to get their act together tho.

Yeah they're screwed either way. I just hope all the Pats* fans slamming Goodell remember their owner pushed the CBA. It's the hypocrisy that pisses me off and that Brady brought the courts into begin with. Now that said, I hope Bryant and Bell if they can appeal. What they did had no possible effects on games. I'm proud to be a fan of the only team that saw Goodell's crap coming from miles.

I do love all the egotistical Pats* fans telling people to get over it when they brought a suspension by a private entity to a court, the league fucked up but Brady and the Pats* still can go pound sand. This is akin to your conviction being overturned because the officer didn't Mirandaize or the prosecutor withheld evidence. It doesn't mean they didn't cheat. Sorry rant over but man I hate these guys and their fans who think Tom Brady is Gid's gift to everyone.

I noticed it the first day I joined, I love it. Good way of keeping potential Pats* fans trolls away too since you know the astralisk has to drive em nuts.

Since '02.... Steelers usually come out flat the first game of the year whether is was Cowher or Tomlin as HC. Patriots* are usually sharp during week 1. It's not looking good. I may just wait until September 20th (49ers) to start watching. Friday morning, September 11th is gonna suck...and then there will be almost two weeks that we have to wallow in our collective miseries.

Actually it's been since '01... where the Steelers start the week 1 game flat as hell. The Jaguars destroyed the Steelers.... the Sunday before the 9/11 attacks.
