the walking dead

any of you guys watching this show? i just heard about it recently. i have watched the first season and i am hooked. i downloaded the second season last night and i cant wait to watch it

The show is pretty awesome, VA. My wife and I love it and have been watching since season 1. The acting is great and the special effects/makeup are movie quality. The last couple of episodes this season were pretty shocking. I won't ruin it for you.

I just worry that there's only so far they can take the story. It might become repetitive and stale after awhile, but so far they've managed to keep it interesting. Of course, I love the zombie apocalypse genre so I'm somewhat biased.

I recommend you stick with it and get caught up to date. I think you'll like it a lot.

If you go with the flow of the comic (obviously adding in other stuff and changing the story up a bit), they have plenty to go on. They haven't even gotten to Alexandria yet.

i just watched the first episode of season 2..........i cant believe they shot the fucking kid!!!!

I actually haven't read the comic. I know, surprising since I'm a bit of a comic book nerd. I don't collect anymore so newer stuff is foreign to me.

He was asking for it. Damn kid wanders too much.

My wife loves it so I watch it as well. Its really good but can bog down for episodes at a time with basically nothing happening. Plus it makes you want to scream at them for being stupid. Still the end of season 2 was crazy and very entertaining.

i do agree with JJ however there were some moments when i thought.....what the fuck are you thinking

for instance when on the highway and the RV broke down why in the hell didnt they just jump in a few of hundreds of other cars and get the hell out of there?

I'm sure that in that scenario quite a few have broken down and even more have been pilfered for their gasoline already. The last thing you'd want to do is jump in a vehicle that is disabled and make yourself a sitting duck.... unless it's a Sherman tank.

You can knock it, but I'll bet dollars to donuts that when the zombie apocalypse hits the fan and you're on a highway full of abandoned cars being chased by zombies, you won't be just hopping into any random car because of my survival tip. Trust me, as a once resurrected zombie (by YOU no less, VA!), I know what I'm talking about. You're welcome.

The key in a Zombie appocplyps is to stay calm and never get cornered. Collect what you need and then start moving toward remote area's.

The Walking Dead game for PS3 RULES. It doesn't really follow the show, though.

Nearing the end of season 2 on NetFlix. I must say, this show has my heat beating faster and stronger than any other show I've ever watched. Definitely liking it.

I'm four episodes into season three now. Close to catching up.

Well...that episode ending about killed me.

I'm caught up. Excellent show, i'm loving it. I don't believe a show has EVER had me on the edge of a heart-attack as many as this one has.

After getting Netflix, I was able to watch this series. After Lost ended, I felt a little empty. I knew it would be a long time before another show could consume me the way Lost did. Walking Dead doesn't have me under quite the same spell, but it's close. I'm ready for season 3 to pick back up.

Spent a good portion of yesterday watching the Walking Dead marathon. I'm ready for Season 3 to resume tonight.
